Havre Police Department

Officers investigated after a caller near the Atrium Mall reported Thursday at 1:50 p.m. that a vehicle backed up into a van.

Mitchell Thomas Creswell of Havre, 25, was arrested on charges of endangering the welfare of children, two counts, Thursday at 7:32 p.m. after a Lincoln Avenue caller made a report.

Officers made an arrest after a Lincoln Avenue caller reported this morning at 4:27 that someone was knocking on the door. A man was arrested for endangering the welfare of children, and a girl that was with him was taken home.  

 

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies investigated after a Box Elder caller made a theft or forgery or fraud report Thursday at 7:15 a.m.

Deputies assisted another agency Thursday at 2:58 p.m. near the Wildhorse Port.

A 17-year-old was arrested on a state District Court Warrant Thursday at 5:25 p.m. near a First Street business.  

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Thursday and one today.

Fire crews responded to the 500 Block of Fourth Street Thursday at 4:37 p.m. where a malfunctioning alarm was triggered. The alarm was repaired and no further action was necessary.

Animal Shelter

The animal shelter held this morning a female German shepherd, a female border collie-Labrador retriever mix, a female mixed breed and a male American bulldog.

The animal shelter held this morning two short-haired and five medium-haired cats.
