Obituary - Paulette Joy Patrick

Paulette Joy Patrick went to be with her father in Heaven July 31, 2017, due to natural causes.

She was born in Menomonie, Wisconsin, May 28, 1964, to Paul and Joyce Lorenz. The family moved to Billings where she was raised until her freshman year in high school, when she moved to Fargo, North Dakota, to attend the Oak Grove Christian Academy, graduating in 1981. She then attended the University of Mary, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in radiological technologies. Paulette then worked at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, before moving back to Montana to be closer to family. It was then that she met the love of her life, Michael Patrick, whom she married on Feb. 28, 2004. It was also the time of her life when she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. She responded with a “why not me” attitude and used humor and her unwavering faith to live a positive life while dealing with the ups and downs of her illness. Paulette appreciated the beauty of God’s creation around her, often using her love of photography to capture it.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Patrick; her children, Eagan and Lela Phillips; and her mother, Joyce Lorenz. She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Lorenz.

A celebration of Paulette’s life will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 11, 2017, at Dahl Funeral Chapel in Billings. Her family has suggested memorial donations be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America, 375 Kings Ave. North, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.

Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements, and Dahl Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with services.
