Obituary - Teonna Bay Green

Teonna Bay Green, 20, passed away Aug. 5, 2017.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, Aug. 10, at 11 a.m. at Harlem High School in the little gym. The public viewing will be held today, Wednesday, Aug. 9, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at Edwards Funeral Home in Chinook.

Teonna was born Sept. 15, 1996, to Carol Murch and Harry Green in Havre, Montana. She graduated from Harlem High School in 2015. Growing up, she was very active in 4-H, showing livestock and won many awards including Best in Show at N.I.L.E Stock Show in Billings under the guidance of Patty Cross. She was an active participant in the Harlem swim team and qualified for the state swim meet. Teonna worked a variety of jobs including child care, life guard, convenience store clerk, house keeper - except for her room - waitress, and farming and ranching, all in an effort to find her way.

Teonna was an amazing person, with a loving heart. Everyone was drawn to her spunky, fun-loving attitude, and you only had to meet her once to be her friend. Teonna was a social butterfly during high school, and loved to be with her friends, and her grades often showed it. She was grandma's baby girl and loved being an auntie, sister and cousin. One of her favorite things to do was listen to music, especially around a camp fire. She was definitely an independent free spirit.

She is survived by her mother, Carol (Mike) Nissen, and father, Harry Green; brothers, Connor (Leeona) Green and Carson Nissen, and sister, Sevrie Green; grandparents, James and Linda Murch and Lawrence and Helen "Connie" Green; aunts and uncles, Cook (Kelly) Murch, Chris (Trish) Murch, John Green and Stefani (Doug) Cuthbert; nephew, Myles Green; and numerous cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather Larry Nissen

Arrangements were entrusted to Edwards Funeral Home.
