Havre Police Department

Officers investigated after receiving a report Thursday at 9:57 a.m. about theft of a money card.

Zakery Dale Jones of Havre, 31, was issued a summons on a charge of theft after a First Street business caller asked Thursday at 11:06 a.m. for officer assistance.

Trevor Richard Vernon Lasher of Great Falls, 31, was arrested on charges of shoplifting, possession of dangerous drugs and possession with intent to sell after an 11th Street West business caller reported Thursday at 3:38 p.m. that someone had shoplifted earlier.

Moses Eugene Lawrence of Harlem, 33, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct after a First Street Northeast caller reported Thursday at 4:38 p.m. that a man was passed out in the hallway.

Officers investigated suspicious activity Thursday at 5:23 p.m. on First Street.

Officers investigated after a U.S. Highway 2 Northwest business caller reported Thursday at 8:35 p.m. that there was suspicious data usage on the company cellphone.

A 17-year-old was issued a summons on a charge of juvenile curfew violation after after a Lincoln Avenue caller reported today at 3:13 a.m. that a pickup truck was idling in the Head Start School parking lot.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies investigated after a 405 South Road caller reported Thursday at 9:30 a.m. that someone stole two wheels and a hitch assembly off a 100-year-old wagon in the yard.

Carmelo Winters Valenzuela Jr. of Fort Belknap, 39, was arrested on a state District Court warrant Thursday at 11:50 a.m. at the Hill County Detention Center.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to four calls Wednesday and one today.

Fire crews responded to the 100 Block of Seventh Avenue North after a grass fire report was made Wednesday at 9:08 p.m. Fire crews found no sign of fire and no further action was needed.

Havre Animal Shelter

The animal shelter held this morning one long-haired and two medium-haired cats.

——

The shelter also held three puppies: one male German shepherd-Rottweiler mix, one male mixed-breed and one female husky.
