Obituary - Danny Lee Corrigan

Danny Lee Corrigan, 61, passed away peacefully Aug. 3, 2017, with his children by his bedside, at the University of Washington Medical Center, after a courageous battle with acute myeloid leukemia.

Danny was born Feb. 14, 1956, in Havre, Montana, to his parents, Carson and Evon Corrigan. He graduated in 1974 from Fergus High School in Lewistown, Montana. Shortly after, at the age of 17, he moved north to Fairbanks, Alaska, with his family. Danny worked for the family fuel trucking business, Corrigan & Sons Inc. for over 30 years. Danny's passions were his family, trucking, baseball, basketball and his dogs. He was a very hard-working, dedicated, kind, funny and sometimes wild family man. No words can express what a wonderful man he was to his family or how much he will be missed.

He is survived by many family members who dearly love him including his children, Matthew (Lynne) Dwyer and Danielle (Derek) Adolf; his grandchildren, Landon, Maxx and Eddy; his parents, Carson and Evon Corrigan; his siblings, Colleen (Edgar) Banks, Roger (Lois) Corrigan, Carla (Mike) Caudy, Kelly (Ted) Hanson and Kevin (Missy) Corrigan; his wife for 21 years whom he remained close friends with until the end, Tiffany Corrigan; and numerous nieces and nephews, Christopher Banks, Jeremy Corrigan, Sarah Hanson, Ted Hanson, Courtney (Tyler) Amundson, Dustin Huebner, Taylor (Andy Behner), Michelle Halbert and Jake Caudy, and their children, as well as many other extended family members.

In lieu of flowers, his children request that you mail a photo and/or written story about Danny for them to keep in their family memory book. Sentiments can be mailed to Danielle Adolf, 9138 Arlon St., Suite A3-414, Anchorage, AK 99507.
