Trap season ready to fire up

The Havre Trap Club is set to fire up its annual shotgun shooters club league with several special events set to go off in coming weeks.

The league starts Wednesday, Aug. 30 at 5 p.m. and will meet every following Wednesday at the same time and every Sunday at 1 p.m. until Sept. 27.

The trap club, club President Jim Bachini said, is at least a century old. It has been in its current location, 101 County Road 802 just south of Havre, since 1984.
