Annual state Arbitration and Labor Relations Conference set for Sept. 27-28 in Bozeman

HELENA — Bozeman will host the annual Montana Arbitration and Labor Relations Conference Sept. 27-28 at the Grantree Inn beginning at 8 a.m. each day.

This longstanding conference, hosted by the Montana Department of Labor and Industry, will be celebrating 38 years of providing Montanans arbitration and labor relations information. The focus of this year’s conference is the changing workplace and what lies ahead for management and labor. 

  Attendees will hear presentations such as the history of labor relations in Montana, the future of labor relations, contract interpretation, employment law updates and negotiations.

Tuesday, Sept. 26, the Montana Department of Labor and Industry will conduct interest-based bargaining training beginning at 9 a.m.
