Havre Police Department

Officers investigated after a Fourth Avenue caller reported Tuesday at 9:57 a.m. that an old bicycle was stolen from her yard.


Daniel Josef Baranyai of Havre, 29, was arrested on a state District Court warrant and charges of driving while using an electronic communication device and driving without insurance during a motor vehicle stop Tuesday at 12:55 p.m.


Officers made an arrest after serving a warrant on Laredo Road Tuesday at 1:02 p.m.


Officers investigated a sex offense after a caller from the child abuse hotline made a report Tuesday at 2:47 p.m.


Officers investigated after a Seventh Street caller reported Tuesday at 3 p.m. that an iPad was missing.


Officers investigated after a caller near First Street reported Tuesday at 3:33 p.m. a motor vehicle crash between a red Jeep and a black Honda Civic.


Officers investigated after a First Street business caller reported Tuesday at 7:15 p.m. that three people were pulling store items out of their shirts as they got into the vehicle.


Leslie Ann Seely of Havre, 55, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence and stop sign violation during a motor vehicle stop on Fifth Avenue today at 2:06 a.m.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies made an arrest during a motor vehicle stop on Laredo Road near the Rocky Boy’s Indian Reservation line Tuesday at 2:08 p.m. No further information was provided.


Yvonne Marie Martin of Harlem, 64, was arrested on a shoplifting charge after security personnel at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported a theft.

Emergency medical personnel responded to one call Tuesday.

The animal shelter held this morning one long-haired, three medium-haired and two short-haired cats.


The animal shelter held this morning a female pit bull terrier, a male shepherd-Rottweiler mix, a male and a female Rottweiler-border collie mix, a male Rottweiler, a male shepherd and a female border collie.


A boy was born Friday Sept. 15, 2017, to Mark and Samantha Potter of Big Sandy.
