Rifle Club season starting

The VFW Bear Paw Junior Rifle Club will be starting its 2017-18 season with signup Monday, Sept. 25, and Tuesday, Sept. 26, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the range, downstairs from the Havre Fire Department office through the Fifth Avenue entrance.

Children and young adults ages 10 to 21 can join, for $30 per season, at any time during the season, which runs to April.

Targets, rifles and shooting jackets are provided. Members must bring safety glasses, if they don’t wear prescription glasses, and bring or — buy at the range for $4 per box — standard velocity .22 rounds, not hi...
