Weston Allderdice, Big Sandy Football

Big Sandy is having a big year on the gridiron, and against his biggest rival, Pioneer Weston Allderdice had the biggest game of his career. In Big Sandy’s win over North Star Friday night, Allderdice rushed for 386 yards, while also scoring six rushing touchdowns. Allderdice scored on runs of 21, 1, 29, 6, 16 and 2 yards in helping his Pioneers inch closer to reaching the Class C Six-Man playoffs. Allderdice also plays basketball for Big Sandy.

Lilly Gopher, Box Elder Volleyball

Box Elder's Lilly Gopher is a star on the basketball court. But, in her junior season, she's proving to be special on the volleyball court as well. Gopher, who has averaged 11 kills per match over the Bears' last five, had 11 last Tuesday against Rocky Boy and 15 more in last Thursday's win over Big Sandy. Behind Gopher, who is also an outstanding defender, the Bears are surging in the 6C East right now. Gopher is also a returning All-State performer in basketball.
