Andrew M. Hull of Whitefish, 32, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and open container in the city after a Third Avenue business caller reported Tuesday at 11:01 a.m. that a man had passed out in front of the door.

Deputies investigated after a caller reported Tuesday at 7:49 a.m. that someone tore the county dump gate down.

Deputies made an arrest after a U.S. Highway 2 West business caller reported Tuesday at 12:39 p.m. a shoplifter was stealing in the store. No further information was provided on the arrest.

Emergency medical crews responded to a call Tuesday and one today.

Fire crews responded to a call Tuesday at 11:45 a.m. on the 900 Block of Sixth Avenue where a downed power line was reported. Firefighters stood by and secured the area while NorthWestern Energy workers repaired the line.

Havre Animal Shelter

The animal shelter held this morning three medium-haired and one short-haired cats.

The animal shelter held this morning a female pit bull terrier, a male shepherd-Rottweiler mix, two male shepherds, a male Labrador retriever-shepherd, a female Chihuahua, a male Boston Terrier and a male terrier.
