Officers investigated after a Northern Montana Hospital caller reported Tuesday at 12:05 p.m. that someone driving a Jeep backed into his pickup truck.

Jennifer Jean Cazier of Havre, 34, was issued a summons on an endangering the welfare of children charge after an 11th Street West business caller reported Tuesday at 6:55 p.m. that a 3-year-old had been left behind.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies investigated after an 11th Street North caller reported Tuesday at 4:06 p.m. that a check had been stolen and forged.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical crews responded to two calls Tuesday and one today.

Fire crews responded to a call Tuesday at 11:13 a.m. on the 1200 Block of 10th Avenue where a power line came down. Firefighters secured the area while NorthWestern Energy repaired the line.

Fire crews responded to a call Tuesday at 3:11 p.m. on the 500 Block of Third Street where a pile of leaves caught on fire. The fire was extinguished and no further action was necessary.

Fire crews responded to a call Tuesday at 9:52 p.m. on the 1800 Block of 10th Street West where a carbon monoxide detector was set off. Inspection revealed that no further action was necessary.

Havre Animal Shelter

The animal shelter held this morning three medium-haired and one short-haired cats.

The animal shelter held this morning a female pit bull terrier, a male shepherd-Rottweiler mix, two male shepherds, a male Labrador retriever-shepherd mix and a male Labrador-pit bull mix.
