Speech team holding judging clinic Wednesday

The Havre High School speech and debate team is holding a judging tournament Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in the high school library for anyone signed up to judge at Saturday’s tournament, or for anyone interested in learning more about speech, drama and debate competition.

The clinic will include brief descriptions of the different events, a demonstration of the different ballots and tools used in judging, and a question and answer period for anyone with questions, head coach Tim Leeds said.

Leeds added that a few slots still are open for judging Saturday, mostly at 2 p.m. but with a few rounds still open at noon and 9 a.m. as well.
