North Central Senior Citizens Center, Oct. 30 through Nov 3

Monday — Transportation from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Tuesday — Transportation from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; exercise class at 11 a.m.; bingo at 1:15 p.m.

Wednesday — Transportation from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m; TOPS at 8 a.m.; cards at 1 p.m.

Thursday — Transportation from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. exercise class at 11 a.m.; cards at 1 p.m.; Kmart/Walmart shopping 1 to 4 p.m.

Friday — Medical transportation will be available from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. but people must make a request at least 24 hours in advance.

Pinochle — First place, Elva Van Dessel; second place, Lois Zinn; third place, Dick Zinn; Pinochle – Giles Majerus

Monday — Polish sausage, potato supreme, sauerkraut, honey bun cake

Tuesday — Salad, oven-bake chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy, winter-mix veggies, cake

Wednesday — Braised beef, mashed potatoes, salad, brownies, milk

Thursday — Chili mac casserole, buns, green beans, fruit

Friday — Soup, salad bar, chef’s choice, dessert

The Legal Document Clinic scheduled for Oct. 19, at The Fifth Avenue Christian Church was canceled due to the high wind warnings. We will be rescheduling at a later date.

If commodities could help, you are 60 years of age, and if you meet the income requirements we now have slots available. Call the center or come down to pick up an application.

The Senior Citizens Center will hold its Annual Fundraising Rummage Sale/Bazaar/Food Sale at the center at 2 Second St. W.

The Rummage Sale/Bazaar Friday, Nov. 3, will run from 1 to 7 p.m. with Indian tacos served from 4 to 7 p.m.; and Saturday, Nov. 4 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. with cinnamon rolls served from 8 to 11 a.m. and Indian tacos served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Bazaar table are currently available to rent at $$10, contact Gwen at the Senior Center at 265-5464.
