Obituary - Clinton L. Dumas

Clinton Leslie Dumas, 66, passed away Oct. 14, 2017, in Great Falls.

Clinton was born May 2, 1951, to Marian and Forrest Dumas in Havre, Montana. He attended local Havre grade schools and graduated from Havre High.

In 1971 Clinton joined the U.S. Navy for six years where he spent months at a time in a submarine. He later joined the U.S. Army National Guard and was deployed to Desert Storm.

Other than his time in the military, Clinton lived in and around Havre. He loved the Bear Paw Mountains and spent a lot of time logging and working at his parents' ranch and the Dumas Family Homestead. He also had a passion for working on and restoring old cars. Clinton worked on the road crew for Hill County and retired from there several years ago.

Clinton is preceded in death by his parents and his grandparents, Lela and Millard Dumas and Anna and Charles Seidel.

He is survived by his brother, Calvin (Michelle) Dumas of Arizona. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.

Clinton's family and friends have held a private celebration of Clinton's life.

Heaven received a gentle soul with Clinton. We will miss you, dear friend.
