Sharon Lee Parsons of Havre, 30, was arrested on charges of partner or family member assault and minor assault after a Fifth Avenue caller reported Thursday at 3:57 p.m. that a woman attacked his mother and she was bleeding.

Officers investigated after a Ninth Avenue business caller reported Thursday at 7:01 p.m. that a credit card may have been stolen.

Adrian Joe Cochran of Harlem, 42, was arrested on a shoplifting charge and a Justice or City court warrant after a First Street business caller reported Thursday at 11:55 p.m. that a man who had stolen something earlier is back in store.

Robert Henry Stump III of Hays, 31, was arrested on a state District Court warrant Thursday at 12:30 p.m. at the Hill County Detention Center.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical crews responded to two calls Thursday.

Fire crews responded to a call Thursday at 10:32 p.m. on the 1200 Block of First Avenue where a fire alarm was falsely triggered. A crew had been working on the building alarm system and there was no reason for concern.

Havre Animal Shelter

The animal shelter held this morning 10 medium-haired, one short-haired and a Himalayan cat.
