Correction - Beta Sigma Phi spreads holiday cheer

A story in the Preview to Christmas special section in Wednesday’s edition of the Havre Daily News misreported that the Xi Tau Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi worked with churches to find families to help during the holiday season. A representative of the nonacademic sorority said it had worked in the past with churches, where they would notify the sorority of needy families, but now it mostly hears about people in need through associates, friends and friends of friends.
