Officers investigated after a First Street West business caller requested Tuesday at 2:28 p.m. to speak to an officer about an employee theft.

Officers investigated after a 14th Avenue caller reported Tuesday at 10:10 p.m. that her apartment was broken into and an Xbox was stolen.

Officers investigated a no show complaint related to a 24/7 Sobriety Program violation Tuesday at 10:22 p.m.

Officers issued summonses to a 15- and a 17-year-old for identical charges of juvenile curfew violation and minor in possession today at 12:25 a.m. after someone reported Tuesday at 9:05 p.m. that her daughter took off with her friend.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies arrested William Ray Snell of Havre, 22, on charges of driving with a suspended or revoked driver’s license Tuesday at 6:14 p.m. during a motor vehicle stop on Second Street.

Deputies arrested Elizabeth April Dawn Caplette of Box Elder, 31, on a Justice or City court warrant Tuesday at 6:32 p.m. at the Hill County Detention Center.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical crews responded to two calls Tuesday.

Fire crews responded to a call Tuesday at 11:11 a.m. at the 300 Block of First Street where a car overheated and spilled antifreeze, causing steam to rise. There was no fire and no further action was necessary.

Fire crews responded to a call Tuesday at 11:21 a.m. at the 800 Block of Fourth Street where steam from a shower had set off the fire alarm. Investigation determined no further action was necessary.

Havre Animal Shelter

The animal shelter held this morning six medium-haired, one long-haired and two short-haired cats.

The animal shelter held this morning a female pit bull terrier, two male shepherds, a male Labrador retriever, a male boxer and male border collie.

A girl was born Monday, Nov. 27, 2017, to Shalona Brockie and Adrian Roastingstick of Havre.
