Delores was born July 29, 1930, in Kremlin to John and Amelia (Philippi) Frey. She was raised in Kremlin, where she attended school. Following her school years she moved to Havre, where she worked at the Buttrey's Coffee Shop for many years and at the Eagles' Manor in the kitchen, from where she retired after 20 years. Delores was also the Avon Lady for many years, and loved to spend time with her customers just chatting.

Delores married Robert D. Nelson when she was young, and the couple had five children. In 1960, she married Clarence Peterson with whom she had two children. He passed away in 1980. In 1995, Delores married Raymond Tudor, and he preceded her in death in 2002.

She was a kind and loving, but strong-willed woman with a beautiful smile, caring blue eyes and a great sense of humor with a laugh that filled the room with love. She was a quick-witted woman and always had a funny come back response. She was a very hard worker, who ensured her seven children never went without. For many years, she attended Immanuel Baptist Church until her illness prevented her from attending.  She absolutely adored her grandchildren, and when they were younger, Delores had Saturday

night sleepovers with them so they could attend church together the next morning. In her later years, Delores enjoyed time with her "coffee ladies" at 4-Bs.  She had a strong belief in her Christian faith. She loved God, her family and had a heart for helping others.

Delores was preceded in death by two husbands, Clarence Peterson and Raymond Tudor; two children, Edward Nelson in 2007 and Evelyn Templeton in 1979; grandson Jeremy Templeton; parents, John and Amelia Frey; brothers Edwin, John "Jack," Ray and Clarence Frey; and sisters, Loretta Clapper, Nora Vosen, and Doris Morse.

She is survived by her five children Ruby (Richard) Caton of Whitefish, Leona Nelson of Phoenix, AZ, Maxine Munson of Havre, Darryl Peterson of Jefferson City, and Arlene (Randy) Graves of Havre; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; brothers Floyd Frey of Harlem and Dennis Frey of Sims; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Delores' family has suggested memorial donations be made in her name to Immanuel Baptist Church, the Alzheimer's Foundation, Compassus Hospice in Helena, or to the charity of the donor's choice.
