Officers investigated after a Pine Drive caller reported Monday at 8:58 a.m. that the neighbors’ pickup truck tires were slashed.

Officers arrested John Michael Vauthier of Havre, 41, on a Justice or City court warrant Monday at 11:17 a.m. on Third Street.

Officers arrested three people during a motor vehicle stop Monday at 12:25 p.m. on Sixth Avenue. No further information was provided.

Officers investigated after a caller at a Third Street West residence reported Monday at 12:38 p.m. that items were stolen from the maintenance room.

Officers made two arrests near 14th Avenue Monday at 3:35 p.m. while assisting the Safe Trails Task Force Agency responding to a 3:11 p.m. call about a woman walking out of a house. No further information was provided.

Officers investigated after a Fifth Avenue and Eighth Street caller reported a complaint Monday at 5:18 p.m.

Officers arrested one person and issued a summons to another after a Third Avenue caller reported Monday at 11:57 p.m. that two people were fighting in the street. James Lowrance was arrested on charges of criminal endangerment, assault with a weapon, reckless driving, failure to report an accident, failure to remain at the accident and criminal mischief. David Pereze was cited for failure to report an accident and failure to remain on the scene of an accident.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies investigated after a Great Northern Fairgrounds caller reported Monday at 2:32 p.m. a motor vehicle crash.

Nelson Alexander Daychild of Box Elder, 52, was arrested on an assault charge and a Justice or City court warrant Monday at 3:31 p.m. at a Box Elder business.

Leroy Longknife Jr. of Fort Belknap, 44, was arrested on a possession of toxic substances charge Monday at 5:19 p.m. at a U.S. Highway 2 West business.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical crews responded to one call Monday and two today.

Fire crews responded to a fire call Monday at 10:51 a.m. at the 1200 Block of 11th Street, where someone reported a low-hanging cable line draped over a fence. Fire crews stood by and secured the area while NorthWestern Energy repaired the line.

Havre Animal Shelter

The animal shelter held this morning four medium-haired, one long-haired and two short-haired cats.

The animal shelter held this morning a female pit bull terrier, two male shepherds and a male Labrador retriever.
