    A paint ball spree in the early hours of Tuesday morning damaged homes and vehicles along 3rd, 2nd and 4th avenues. "(It) looks like a random deal ," Assistant Chief of Operations for the Havre Police Department Gabe Matosich said this morning, adding that there are no leads in the investigation.     After taking months to draft a business license, Planning and Development Committee members agreed to ditch a formal license in favor of asking businesses to voluntarily register. Mayor Tim Solomon made the suggestion during the committee's Tuesday night meeting.     It's official — the Boys & Girls Club of the Hi-Line is now the owner of the Devlin School building. The club bought the property from Havre Public Schools for $1, signing the dotted line Tuesday.     Officials have released the name of a woman who died in a motor vehicle crash Thursday. Crystal Rose Russette, 30, died after a vehicle in which she was a passenger involved in a head-on collision. The crash, on Laredo Road on Rocky Boy's Indian Reservation at 6 p.m. Thursday, resulted after an eastbound pickup truck crossed the center line.     Jaron Lane Stump, 18, died after sustaining burns in the Parker Canyon area July 17. At 1:34 a.m., the call came across to Rocky Boy Police that Stump had sustained burns from falling into a bonfire in the Parker Canyon area, said Sheriff Don Brostrom, whose office is acting as coroner. Repeated calls to Rocky Boy police for more informationn were not returned. Stump died July 20 at Benefis in Great Falls. No cause of death has been determined.     A head-on collision at 6 p.m. Thursday on Laredo Road in Hill County killed one person. A 1991 Chevrolet pickup truck was eastbound on Laredo Road when its driver crossed the center line into a 2001 Chevrolet pickup's path, Montana Highway Patrol reports. The driver of the 2001 Chevy attempted to avoid the crash by driving into the eastbound lane, but a head-on collision occurred.     For more than 50 years, 4-H clubs in Hill County have been selecting a teen and queen to represent the best of the best for the clubs. This year, Colter Bickford, 16, and Amanda Verploegen, 17, will fill those roles. Both are longtime 4-H-ers who are involved in livestock competitions.
