    GREAT FALLS — The District 9C Chinook Sugarbeeters and Box Elder Bears had a nice run at the 2011 Northern C boys basketball tournament over the weekend.     The Havre High girls basketball team competed hard at the Central A basketball tournament this weekend, but just couldn't get past two good teams in two very close games. Over the weekend, the Blue Ponies were in Belgrade where they went two-and-out at the Central A divisional tournament. Thursday, the Ponies fell to Lewistown 43-47 in a six-point loss.     The season has to come to an end at one point or another, but the way the Havre High boys basketball season ended was hard on everybody.     The Havre High girls basketball team played well in the opening round of the Central A divisional tournament, but just couldn't break the barrier that was the Lewistown Golden Eagles. Thursday afternoon in Belgrade, the No. 5 Central A Ponies opened the postseason against the No. 4 Eagles in first round action. But the Eagles defeated the Ponies 43-37.
