    Havre was the sight of the Northern B-C girls divisional tennis tournament. On Friday and Saturday, girls teams from Chinook, Fort Benton, Chester/J-I and Big Sandy battled it out with spots in this week's Class B-C state tennis tournament on the line. And the race for the team title was close. Chinook repeated as divisional champions, but the Hawks and Longhorns pushed the Beeters.     The men's league golf season is now and high gear, and soon it will be the ladies turn. The women will have a ladies league fun night on Thursday night starting at 5:30 p.m. at Prairie Farms Golf Course. The regular season for the ladies begins the following Thursday. Prairie Farms will also host a club demo day on Saturday. The chance to demo new and different clubs will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.   • Hawks sending athletes to Northern C Meet

    Friday marked the start of the postseason track and field season for the Chester/J-I Hawks. And at the District 10C Meet in Great Falls, the Hawks did quite well. On Friday at Memorial Stadium in Great Falls, the C/J-I girls finished in second place with 107 points, while the Power Pirates claimed the 10C title with 133 points.     The Havre North Stars American Legion baseball team already had two wins over the Great Falls Stallions heading into Sunday's Northern District doubleheader in Havre. And last weekend in Great Falls, the wins over the Stallions looked easy. However, two more wins was anything but.
