I was a sophomore in high school at the time and the fire raced along right across the road from my house. My great uncle died while trying to build a fire break to protect his farm.     Honored to be part of Youth of the Year event Editor: Last week, I was honored to co-host the Boys & Girls Club Youth of the Year event in Helena. One of the three finalists was our own Shawna Cary of Havre. Although she was ill and unable to attend in person, Shawna competed by video, and she did an amazing job! Please congratulate Shawna.
