  • The vacuum made the phone ring

    Sondra Ashton

Every two or three days I make a list of chores and things to do. My list keeps me focused, nags at me. My list includes jobs which, if I didn't stick on them, might fall out of sight. These are suggestions, not orders. I pride myself on my flexibility, one of my better qualities. Nothing is cast in concrete. My inner compass points me to go with the flow, as we used to say. CASondra AshtonPTION On a diamonds-in-the-sky Monday morning I checked my list. I decided to vacuum, th... Full story

  • George Ferguson Column: Skylights showing plenty of toughness and heart of late

    George Ferguson

It's truly been an interesting season for the Montana State University-Northern women's basketball team. And by no means has it been easy. In fact, MSU-N's road to where it is now has been down right difficult. The Skylights started the year having to re-load after the loss of all-everything guard Laramie Schwenke, while they also lost two regular season non-conference games early because a team decided they didn't want to drive all the way to Montana. In fact, Northern's...

    Daniel Horton

In many cases, a programs' success greatly depends on its senior athletes and senior leadership.
