Longtime Havre resident Robert "Bob" Markwardt, 79, passed peacefully on February 21, 2019. Bob was born in 1939 in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, to Roy and Hattie Markwardt. After graduating from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota, he married Nancy Thysell and began a journey selling farm equipment that would take him through many stops in Minnesota and Illinois.
