Bruce Meyers had suggested that the public’s desire for charter schools had something to do with a desire for Christian schools. Steve Kalanick, 101, passed away peacefully on March 23, in Great Falls, Montana. Steve was born Nov. 22, 1913, in Stockett, Montana, to Czech immigrants, John and Anna Kalanick. In 1915 the Kalanick family homesteaded near Big Sandy, Montana, where Steve also raised his family and lived until moving to Great Falls in 2002.
