    Staff members of PJ’s Restaurant and Casino were cleaning up this morning after a fire started and was put out in the restaurant. A staff member said the fire was small and started at a stove, but it will take a few days to clean and dry the facility. She said the restaurant will announce when it is ready to re-open. No authorized personnel were available at the Havre Fire department this morning to provide information about the fire. Watch for more details in Monday’s edition of the Havre Daily News....

    The Fort Belknap Indian Reservation’s Chemical Dependency Center will host a Gathering of Native Americans, or GONA, a three-day event geared toward reducing the suicide rate in Indian Country. Jill Harris, an adolescent counselor at the center, said GONA will run Monday through Wednesday from 2 to 9 p.m. each day in the Red Whip Center across from the reservation’s police department at the Fort Belknap Agency.
