    In Tuesday’s story about the 2017 Hays Community Pow-wow, Alicia Werk was described as the powwow committee’s secretary-treasurer, but Werk clarified after deadline that she is only listed as secretary-treasurer because she is acting as the contact for the person who holds that office. “My daughter Alexandra Werk is the secretary and treasurer,” Alicia Werk said. “She is 8 years old, so her dad (Randall Werk Sr.) and I are her representatives.... Full story

    Havre Daily News staff With levels at Fresno and Nelson reservoirs at their lowest levels in years, the federal agency that administers the irrigation reservoirs said the water should start rising soon.     The Hill County Park Board has issued a ban on all campfires within Beaver Creek Park that will go into effect Friday at 12:01 a.m. and remain in place until more rain and moisture temper the dry conditions.
