  • Letter to the Editor - Paper's People's Rights articles biased

    Updated Aug 10, 2020

Editor, This was the first Montana People’s Rights Group meeting that I have attended and I was disappointed with the dark bias that was used by HDN to describe it. Conveniently, there was no mention that the meeting was opened with a prayer and also closed with a prayer. One main question at the meeting was what the Constitutions of the United States and Montana really say and how that might differ from what we are being told. Another question was the positives of wearing a mask, as well as the negatives of wearing a m...

  • Our View - The facts on People's Rights

    Updated Aug 10, 2020

The Havre Daily News has received complaints, via Facebook, by telephone and now in an opinion column and a letter, printed on this page, about its coverage of people attending meetings in Havre held by People’s Rights Montana District 1. Travis McAdam said the Montana Human Rights Network “believes” the group is an attempt to create a network of militias. Mr. McAdam cited no evidence, not even a statement from the purported architect o...

    Aarron Thompson|Updated Aug 10, 2020
