A fire is burning on Rocky Boy’s Indian Reservation near the top of Baldy Mountain. Rocky Boy’s forestry department said this morning the department was had no time available this morning and would provide details on the fire later today. The Hill County Commission unanimously passed a resolution Thursday to put a 8 mill levy increase to people living outside the city limits for the Havre Ambulance Service on the upcoming general election ballot to make up for the service’s financial shortfall. Franklin Troy Caplette was sentenced to 30 days probation — with credit for most of a year served — in a plea agreement in which he pleaded guilty to a lesser charge.
