    After an early morning special meeting of the Great Northern Fair Board, fairgrounds Manager Dave Brewer said despite issues raised about his performance during the meeting’s executive session, he will stay in his job.     Fire officials said this morning that work is progressing well on the East Fork Fire, one day after evacuations were lifted by the Hill County Sheriff’s Office.     Christine Parker, a rural water billing clerk for Rocky Boy Public Works, said this morning that a loss of water to some homes on Rocky Boy’s Indian Reservation was resolved last night. Chippewa Cree Tribal Water Resources Director Dustin White said Monday that 10 homes in the Hay Stack area of Rocky Boy’s Indian Reservation lost water Monday morning due to a broken service line.     A Plentywood man who raped a woman while she was asleep when he was visiting her in Havre in 2013 received five years with the Department of Corrections Monday afternoon in District Court. Kevin J. Kavon, born in 1979, received 10 years with five suspended with the Department of Corrections for the offense of sexual intercourse without consent.     A man who was convicted in 2012 of raping a 7-year-old multiple times in the basement of a Havre church was sentenced Monday afternoon to five years with the Montana State Prison. District Judge Daniel Boucher sentenced Edward Harold Ghostbear, born in 1977, to 15 years at Montana State Prison, with all but five years suspended and credit for 160 days already served.
