Michael was born in Sidney, Montana, to Robert and Genevieve Kaftan on November 3, 1960. Raised in Havre, Montana, he graduated Havre High School in 1979. On December 29, 1982, Michael married Pat Forman, with whom he had two sons. The couple later divorced but remained friends. Family was most important to Michael.     Rocky Boy resident Gavin Tyrone Sutherland is set to be arraigned this afternoon in Great Falls on a charge of second degree murder stemming from a death on Rocky Boy’s Indian Reservation in July.
