Montana State Univesity-Northern announced it received a major boost to help students attend the university from a family with a long history of supporting students and higher education in Montana. The Haynes Foundation gifted Northern with a $661,000 endowment to the MSU-Northern Alumni Foundation, the university said in a press release.
