  • Man sentenced for eluding officers in car chase

    A man who led officers on a chase from Rocky Boy to Havre was sentenced Thursday in District Court in Havre to five years to the state Department of Corrections. Adrian J. Young, born in 1976, received seven years, with two suspended, to the DOC for criminal endangerment, a felony. The sentence is pursuant to a plea agreement that dismissed two additional misdemeanor charges.     People turned out Thursday night to dine on chilli and raise money for a memorial honoring the late Bonnie Bennett, remembered for her perennial volunteer work within the community.
