Josh Kaupang lost his trailer house and all of his possessions in a fire Saturday morning, but he's pleased the blaze spared his five children. Havre firefighters spent two hours Saturday morning fighting the fire in Smithville that is believed to have been caused by a faulty water heater. Alkire, 72, of Mesa, Arizona, pleaded guilty to violations involving unlawful possession of game birds, waste of game birds, and taking an over limit of game birds in Phillips County. Alkire was found with 65 sharp-tailed grouse in his possession.
