But on Thursday night at the HHS gymnasium, the Blue Ponies were in prime position to pull off the upset. However, just when it seemed as though the Ponies had the Rustlers backed into a corner, CMR responded with a 15-2 run that dashed any hopes of an HHS upset.     BUTTE (AP) The flag-draped casket of Army Pvt. Daren Smith, who died in Iraq, arrived in Butte on Thursday to dozens of family members and friends who gathered at the city's airport to pay their respects. Smith, 19, died Dec. 13 in Baghdad of non-combat related injuries. He is the 22nd Montanan serving in the military to die in Iraq. The Department of Defense hasn't release any additional details about the death, which is under investigation. Bad weather delayed Smith's flight to Butte for a few hours, and his family was...

Questions like, Is this normal? What were the circumstances behind the shooting? Was it animal cruelty? Wendland said during an expedition near the dump, he saw blood and lots of it. "(There was) blood on the top of the dumpster," Wendland said. "I didn't think anything of it because we usually see lots of blood."...
