Monday, Nov. 11

VFW Post 497 Veterans Day Ceremony, 11 a.m., Town Square, and continued at Havre Elks Club, with a lunch following the ceremony. This event is open to everyone.

North Central Montana Transit will not be running this day in honor of Veterans Day.

Havre Community Pool closed for the observance of Veterans Day. For info call 265-8161.

The North Central Hangar of the Montana Pilots Association monthly meeting, 7:30 p.m., terminal, Havre City-County Airport.

Friends of Beaver Creek Park monthly meeting, 7 p.m., Van Orsdel United Methodist Church.

Tuesday, Nov. 12

Hamburger Feed fundraiser, 5:30 - 6:30 p.m., Eagles Club. Dinner includes salad, baked beans and chips for $7. Bingo will follow. Proceeds from dinner will go to Havre Beneath the Streets Sidewalk fund.

Havre Chapter of the Montana Landlord Association meeting, 7 p.m., Havre-Hill County Library. All area landlords are encouraged to attend. Guests are welcome. For info call 945-4318.

Havre Wrestling Club Pint Night fundraiser, 4 - 8 p.m., Triple Dog Brewing Co., 675 1st St. W. The brewery will donate $1 per pint purchased to the club and club raffle tickets will be on sale.

Books and Babies, 10:15 a.m., Havre-Hill County Library. Free and public is welcome.

Friday, Nov. 15

Moonlight Mingle Dessert and Pie Auction fundraiser, 7 p.m., Havre High Auditorium, including dinner with “The Addams Family” cast and crew, dessert, drinks, photo ops, prizes and the dessert live auction. Tickets are $15 per guest. HHS’ “The Addams Family” fall play begins Nov. 22.

Saturday, Nov. 16

Big Sky Little Britches Rodeo, 9 a.m., Bigger Better Barn, Great Northern Fairgrounds. Spectator admission is free to this youth rodeo hosted by Hi-Line Rodeo Team.

Kids Pumpkin Cooking Class with Cadence Kallenberger, noon - 1:30 p.m., Van Orsdel United Methodist Church, 410 5th Ave. Cadence will demonstrate for kids 6 years and older how to cook with pumpkin. The class is free and lunch is provided. Kids will make their own pumpkin treat and take home ingredients, recipes and some skills to cook at home.

Blue Horizons Senior Camping Club meeting and luncheon, noon, North Central Senior Citizen’s Center. Meal is $10 and all interested campers are welcome. For info call 265-4870.

MAT is looking to fill eight male roles from 20s to 30s and 50s to 80s, and for at least four female roles 20s to 30s and older, for the play which will run Jan. 24 to Feb. 8. I would LOVE to see our community list more events in this section. So many times you hear from a friend that went to some event or fundraiser that you didn't even hear about. Would love to see any little thing going on in Havre to be posted here.
