GEORGE RENAKER III, Obituary

George Thomas Renaker III, 45, died March 1, 2002, in Helena.

Cremation has taken place.

Funeral services will be held at the Church of the Nazarene on Thursday at 11 a.m. A luncheon will follow at the Vet's Club in Havre.

George was born in San Diego, Calif. to George T. Jr. and Doris (Green) Renaker on July 9, 1956. He lived in various cities with his parents until they moved to Havre in 1974. He graduated from Havre High School in 1975. He served in the Army in Germany and was honorable discharged in 1980.

George worked in the oil fields for a few years before returning to Havre in 1986. He was employed by the Buttrey food store as the bakery manager. He was there for a number of years before moving to the Bozeman area, finally ending up in Helena as the bakery manager of Safeway.

George loved fishing, kids, dogs, his friends and family. He was an avid Broncos fan, but most of all he loved his job. "It will take two people to make up for all the work he did," his boss at Safeway said.

George was preceded in death by grandparents, John Green, George T. Renaker Sr. and Ann Renaker; and a son, Joshua T. Renaker.

Survivors include his parents; grandmother, Mary Green; sister, Karrie Barsotti and her husband, Kevin, of Havre; brothers, Steve Renaker and his wife, Pam, of Havre, and Mike Renaker of Chinook; four nephews; and one niece.
