Ramon "Ray" Bergh, a 38-year Hill County resident, has filed for the nonpartisan position of county justice of the peace.
No one else has yet to file for the position, including incumbent Justice of the Peace Carol Chagnon.
"I've been encouraged by people to throw my name in for consideration," he said today.
Bergh, a substitute teacher at Havre Middle School and Havre High School, previously taught world history, U.S. government, geography and English at Box Elder schools.
