Lights sign Bullchild

Montana State University-Northern Lights men's basketball head coach Brian Harrell announced Monday that he's signing Browning High School star player Leo Bullchild.

Harrell is headed to Browning today so Bullchild can sign the letter of intent.

As a four-year starter with Browning, Bullchild averaged 14 points per game and led the team in steals and assists. Bullchild was also a four-year letter winner for the two-time state champion Indians team.

In his junior year, Bullchild led the team in scoring, was a first team all-state member and was the most valuable player of the state Class A tournament. As a senior, Bullchild led the conference in assists and steals and was second in scoring. Bullchild finished second to teammate Mike Chavez in votes for the state Class A most valuable player award.
