Registration assemblies set

Registration assemblies for ninth-, 10th- and 11th-graders for the 2002-03 school year will be March 20. Students will receive all their registration information, and will turn in their subject selection sheets on March 27.

On March 26, Havre High School will hold registration for students who will be freshmen in the fall of 2002. The assembly for students and their parents of guardians will be held in the high school theater. Packets of information about the high school curriculum will be handed out. Included in the packet will be the form on which students will list the courses they wish to take next year.

Information about high school graduation requirements, college preparatory programs, changes to curriculum, and the how-tos of preregistering will be discussed.

Following the session, staff members will be available in classrooms to consult with students and parents about course selection and any other concerns. The open house will give students and parents the opportunity to become familiar with the high school building and meet some of the staff members.

The subject selection sheets must be returned to the student's advisory teacher by April 5.
