Classes offered at Made in Montana

Exhibitors and nonexhibitors can get insights on achieving retail business success by signing up for three marketing classes being offered next Thursday in conjunction with the Made In Montana Food & Gift Show, Great Falls Civic Center.

The series begins at 1 p.m. with a discussion on how to find the capital needed to start or grow a business. At 3:30 p.m., the conversation turns to brand identity what it is and how to get it.

Those who attend the 6:30 p.m. class will learn some of the secrets of turning a business's retailers into a sales force.

The three-course package costs $50 per person. Classes will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

"The show and classes have a common goal to support businesses in creating successful marketing opportunities for themselves," said Rebecca Baumann, Made in Montana coordinator for the Montana Department of Commerce.

Class descriptions and registration forms can be obtained through local small business development centers, by calling the Department of Commerce at (406) 444-3494 or by viewing the information at http://www.madeinmontanausa.com.

Wholesale buyers interested in attending the trade show can contact Angelyn Stonebraker, at (406) 444-2402 or by downloading the registration form at http://www.agr.state.mt.us.

"The Made and Grown In Montana companies are gearing up and are excited to participate in this premier showcase," said Stonebraker, a Montana Department of Agriculture marketing specialist.
