Havre girl picked for scholarship

Members of Soroptimist International of Havre have announced the recipient of a $1,000 scholarship to Montana State University-Northern provided by Tillie S. Patterson.

Lisa Larson, daughter of Larry and Theresa Larson, received the award for her interest in community service. She plans to attend MSU-Nand receive a teaching degree.

Larson has been active in community service work during her high school years. She has been active in the Hill County 4-H program, has been president of her club the past three years and is a senior leader. She will be the head counselor at the 2002 camp after her g...
