Chamber sponsors business reporting clinic

Signup is available for the Assistance for Business Clinic scheduled for April 30 at the TownHouse Inns in Havre. The clinic is sponsored by the Havre Area Chamber of Commerce and U.S. Small Business Administration and is targeted at those involved in government compliance and reporting procedures.

The workshop is designated for personnel managers, payroll managers, bookkeepers and secretaries. It is an opportunity to learn about reporting requirements, new legislation, insurance and safety requirements.

Representatives from the Montana Department of Labor and Industry, Internal Revenue Service, Montana Department of Revenue and the Job Service will make presentations.

The clinic, which includes lunch, costs $25. It will be held between 7:45 a.m. and 5 p.m. Preregistration is recommended, particularly for those individuals who want continuing professional education credits.
