Commission meets in Glasgow

The Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks Commission will hold its April meeting next Thursday at 8 a.m. at the Cottonwood Inn in Glasgow.

The FWP Commission meets each month to discuss issues involving the resources in Montana. It has been eight years since the last FWP Commission meeting was held in this region.

The FWP Commission will hold an open house Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cottonwood Inn. The informal gathering will give the public an opportunity to visit with the commissioners and discuss issues the state is encountering. Refreshments will be served.

The agenda for the commission meeting includes: School Trust (Garwood) Fishing Access Site, Region 6 State Parks Committee, and Sage Grouse Plan Update.

The public is encouraged to participate. For more information, call the Glasgow Area Office at 228-3700.
