Montana offers hunter education courses for teens

The Montana Department of Fish, Wildlife and Parks is now enrolling students for hunter education courses for 2002.

Any youths 12 through 17 who want to hunt must have a hunter education certificate issued by FWP in order to purchase a hunting license.

The hunter education courses are being offered May 6-18 and Aug. 12-17. Preregistration is required at the Havre Area Resource Office of FWP. Office hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
