NEIL VANNI, Obituary

SUNNYVALE, Calif. Neil Anthony Vanni, 77, died April 7, 2002, in Sunnyvale, Calif.

A vigil service was held April 9, 2002, at the Cusimano Family Colonial Mortuary in Mountain View, Calif. A visitation was held at the Ascension Church in Saratoga, Calif., followed by the funeral Mass. A private interment was held at Skylawn Memorial Park, San Mateo, Calif.

Neil was a native of Havre. He was in business with his brother Tony of Vanni Painting Co. since 1960.

Neil was a survivor of the Battle of the Bulge and a POW, U.S. Army, and World War II. He was a member of the VFW Post of Redwood City and the Ascension Church of Saratoga Men's Club.

Survivors are his wife of 54 years, Jan Vanni of Sunnyvale, Calif.; children, Linda, Neil, Michael, Cheryl, JoAnn, Debbie, David, Thomas, Anthony and Michelle; brothers, Frank, Mike and Tony; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
