Illegal aliens held in Havre

Nine illegal aliens four of whom were apprehended at Havre train depot were held in the Hill County Detention Center from Friday until Wednesday morning.

A number of the aliens were sent back to their native countries Wednesday, while the Border Patrol took the rest to court hearings, said Les Osbourne, administrator for the Havre jail.

Five of the aliens, most of whom are Mexican, were transported here by the Border Patrol from Billings on Friday. The rest were apprehended at the Havre train depot on Saturday. All were charged with illegal entry into the United States.
