LESTER AZURE, Obituary

Lester T. Azure, 54, passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2002, at a Havre hospital of cancer.

Calling hours will be today at the Edwards Funeral Home in Chinook beginning at 5 p.m. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday at St. Gabriel's Catholic Church in

Chinook. Burial will follow in the Kuper Memorial Cemetery.

Lester was born June 1, 1947, at Fort Belknap to Albert and Mary L. (Jennotte) Azure. He was raised in Havre and attended school here.

Lester worked at various jobs throughout his life, including construction, ranch work, bartending. At the time of his death he was employed by PJ's in Havre.

Lester was an avid pool player and also enjoyed fishing, music and all sports.

Lester was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Mary Azure; brothers, Jerry and Ronald Azure; sisters, Dolores Eastman and Georgianna Azure.

Lester is survived by his son, Thomas (Robin) Wilson; three grandchildren; brothers, Mick Azure, Alan H. Azure, Lonnie Azure and Curtis Azure, all of Havre; sisters, June Azure and Linda L. Azure, both of Havre; numerous nieces and nephews.
