Megan Bauer, a setter and defensive volleyball specialist from Milford High School in Cincinnati, Ohio, has signed a letter of intent to play for the Montana State University-Northern Skylights.
Bauer completed her senior year with a 3.0 grade point average and received the 2001 Sportsmanship Award from Milford High School. She had a 94 percent setting accuracy her senior year and was the assists leader. She was a member of the Greater Miami Conference championship team her sophomore year and also played Junior Olympic Volleyball for five years, going to the national tournament twice.
Bauer is a class officer, and a Down Syndrome Association volunteer. She has also coached eight-grade volleyball.
"Megan is a very smart setter, who has the ability to set a quick offense immediately," Skylights' head coach Lisa Handley said. "She is also a great passer and defensive player. Megan will be an impact player for us next year."
